We can rebuild your CBI Speedometer Gear Ratio Adapter!

We can rebuild your adapter with a new internal ratio after you have changed tires and/or wheels and your speedometer is now reading incorrectly.

Or we can rebuild it with the same ratio after your adapter was damaged.

This can be done only once, then the wear on the individual parts becomes too great.

These CBI cable-driven speedometer ratio adapters fit applications with 7/8 x 18 thread speedo cables.

To recalibrate your adapter we will need clean speed readings (straight cable without the current adapter installed) at the following intervals:

The GPS displays:
 But your Speedometer displays:
40 mph
 ??
50 mph
 ??
60 mph
 ??

We recommend acquiring these numbers with two people in the vehicle.
One person in the passenger seat with a GPS device/cellphone displaying current speed, who will alert the driver at 40mph, 50mph and 60mph.
The driver can then more accurately relay what their speedometer displays at those 3 intervals.

Be sure to give us these readings in this exact order, 40mph - 50mph - 60mph on the GPS versus what your Speedometer displays, to ensure the proper percentage.

Your refurbished adapter will NOT include the 4 piece keyway kit, but we will include a new drive key if needed.

Your ratio adapter can be built in the offset position! 
If an offset configuration is needed for clearance issues, kindly add this in your order notes!
