NOTE:
You must change your Ford type cable to a different ended GM type cable. One end will have a 7/8 by 18 thread for the transmission side and the other end should match the speedometer side of your existing setup.
( Some will have push-in ends, clip-on ends, or 5/8 by 18 thread ends. Match the cable end you need )

NOTE:
Must reuse previous Ford driven gear, and previous Ford gear C-clip used during speed reading session for this adapter to read accurately.

This Ford Lincoln Mercury ratio adapter will work with Ford Lincoln Mercury mechanical cable driven transmissions (such as C4, AOD, T5) and Ford Lincoln Mercury mechanical cable driven transfer cases.

❌ Will not work with speed sensors or electronic applications.

This ratio adapter will speed up your speedometer gear rotation by 61%.

Increasing your speedometer gauge reading and converting a Miles per hour reading to a Kilometer per hour reading.

We recommend acquiring these numbers with two people in the vehicle.

One person in the passenger seat with a GPS device/cellphone displaying current speed, who will alert the driver at 40mph, 50mph and 60mph.

The driver can then more accurately relay what their speedometer displays at those 3 intervals.

Be sure to give us these readings in this exact order, 40mph - 50mph - 60mph on the GPS versus what your Speedometer displays, to ensure the proper percentage.
