Refund policy

Return and Refund Policy for Jim's Speedometer World.

    We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

    To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging.

    You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

    Shipping costs are non-refundable.

    Damages and issues
    Kindly inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and remedy it accordingly.


    Exceptions / non-returnable items
    Certain types of items cannot be returned:

    No returns accepted on electrical parts.
    No returns accepted on tools.
    No returns accepted on special order items.

    Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

    Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

    At this time we cannot send return labels for any country outside of the United States.

    Refunds

    We reserve the right to charge a 15% restocking fee for all items returned for the following reasons:
    ● Incomplete returns
    ● The buyer changes their mind about their purchase
    ● No longer needed/wanted

    Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

    Once you request a return we will review your request and make a decision in 2 - 3 business days (not including weekends).

    ● If your return is accepted, (damaged item, incorrect item etc.) we will email you a return label to the email address on your order. Instructions on how and where to send your package will be included in this email.

    We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not.
    If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.

    Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. 

    If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your refund, kindly contact us at support@speedometer.world.

    ● If your return is accepted, (no longer want item, buyer changed mind etc.) you will have to provide the shipping costs yourself, and all shipping costs are non-refundable.

    We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not.
    If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.

    Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. 

    If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your refund, kindly contact us at support@speedometer.world.

    ● If determined the return is declined, you will receive an email with the explanation as to why your return was denied. No return label will be sent. If the package is returned to us after the return request was declined, no further action will be taken and no refund will be issued.
